We watched the movie spinoff “Elektra” last night. The movie was not spectacular, by any means. The ending was like many of these comic book movies: It dragged on and on. You would think superhero writers would understand the importance of a “final punch,” but I guess not.

While doing some child superhero research, we got an Atomic Betty DVD from Netflix. The first episode was kind of lame, but then they picked up a bit.
I must say, we received a big scare when we saw Betty’s cat get sucked up with her in a transporter beam! (Episode: “But the Cat Came Back!”) [...]
